Road Transport Specialist VET (Strassentransportfachmann/-frau EFZ)

What does a road transport specialist VET do?

As a road transport specialist VET with more than 600 hp 'under the bonnet', you organise transports, plan routes and estimate how long it takes to load and unload the goods. During your apprenticeship, you have the opportunity to acquire a lorry driver’s licence. The Thommen Group will cover the costs in full.

As 'King/Queen of the road', you bear a great responsibility, as you keep the Thommen Group’s goods traffic running. You will be able to take on exciting and multifaceted work even during the apprenticeship. In addition, you will travel throughout Switzerland in the diverse 'Lorry Job'.

The versatility of the tasks and the ability to work independently at an early stage make the apprenticeship as a road transport specialist VET an exciting challenge.
